Goal: Landscape an empty backyard to provide privacy and interest while enhancing a recently-constructed deck and porch.
Project: GreenSweep's design used a mixture of evergreen and deciduous plants with a variety of bloom colors, leaf textures, heights, and shapes to provide visual interest around a new screened-in porch and deck. Emerald Green Arborvitae combine with Crape Myrtle and an existing Redbud to provide a naturalized privacy screen across two sides of the yard. A massive boulder found in the yard during site prep has been repurposed as a unique design feature. A new October Glory Red Maple anchors one corner to provide shade and a primary focal point. The new landscape now extends the family's outdoor living space throughout their yard.
