Dry Creek Bed Drainage Fix

Goal: Improve rear yard drainage, reduce standing water, and mitigate flooding threats.
Project: Standing water and the constant threat of backyard flooding rendered this backyard nearly unusable. GreenSweep designed a multi-phase solution, the first step of which was to install an 80-foot dry creek bed surrounded by moisture-loving plants, which now swiftly channels rainwater away from the house to an existing storm drain. Future phases will expand the landscaped area, adding plantings and micro-bioretention areas to create a natural, functional solution that also provides a unique and attractive visual element to the yard.
