Capitol Hill Front Yard Reimagination

Goal: This project was a seamless collaboration between GreenSweep, the client, and a boutique landscape design firm. The client had no backyard, so her front yard was her only option for outdoor enjoyment. The goal was to transform a bland and uninspired front yard into a unique showpiece that still afforded some privacy.

Project:Working closely with the design team to ensure each idea was achievable and sustainable, GreenSweep helped to reimagine and recreate this front yard into a space with flowing curves, lush greenery, interesting plantings, and beautiful natural Idaho flagstone. The end result is a hardscape space that serves as both a meandering entry walk and a welcoming patio, surrounded by a broad variety of shrubs, perennials and small ornamental trees. At GreenSweep’s suggestion, numerous existing plants were preserved in place or transplanted, thus giving the landscape a more mature and complete look while also reducing material costs.
